Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customs Clearance Officer to manage the clearance of goods through Saudi Arabian customs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customs regulations, tariffs, and import/export procedures, ensuring compliance with local laws while facilitating the efficient flow of goods.




Key Responsibilities
  • Customs Documentation & Filing: Prepare, submit, and manage all required documentation for customs clearance, including invoices, shipping documents, certificates of origin, and declarations.


  • Compliance & Regulations: Ensure all shipments comply with Saudi Arabian customs regulations, laws, and policies. Stay updated with any changes in legislation.


  • Customs Duty & Tariff Calculation: Determine applicable tariffs, taxes, and duties, and ensure timely payment of all required fees.


  • Clearance Process Management: Coordinate with customs authorities to ensure that goods are cleared smoothly and on time, handling any issues that arise during the process.


  • Communication & Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between customs authorities, shipping agents, and internal teams to resolve any issues and expedite the clearance process.


  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and take corrective actions to prevent delays or compliance issues.


  • Reporting: Prepare reports for internal stakeholders regarding shipment status, customs compliance, and any discrepancies or delays.


  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all cleared shipments for auditing purposes.




Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).


  • knowledge of Saudi customs laws, regulations, and tariffs.


  • Strong understanding of import/export processes and international trade.


  • Ability to effectively communicate with customs authorities and logistics partners.


  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


  • Proficient in using customs software, Excel, and other relevant systems.
