Your Role: Ensure most effective credit limit service in terms of quality of decision, turnaround time, and communication towards customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Decide credit limit requests consistently, within response time included in Risk Business Model:
* by assessing buyer with all information available in IRP and his/her own market knowledge
* Monitoring of the risk portfolio
* by requesting further information to the info/grading team, according to Information Quality Standards
- Be responsible for a dedicated customer’s portfolio, steer it, and provide a pro-active service level, according to PH classification:
* by regularly meeting customers and brokers
* by organizing telephone conferences
- Contribute to support Commercial in steering customers’ loss ratio and implement necessary actions to ensure or restore profitability of portfolio.
- Maintains & develops relationships with Info/Grading Team and MMCD.
The Challenges/ Complexity Requires:
- Attract new customers/prospects by quality of service and underwriting decisions
- Build a trustee relationship with customers, to improve customer portfolio profitability
* Contribute to the training and integration of new underwriters
* Represent company to all External stakeholders
Required (MUST TO HAVE):
- Market knowledge:
* Knowledge in dedicated business industries
- Business expertise:
* Strong business/finance assessment skills
* In-depth knowledge and experience in EH underwriting
* Demonstrate commercial awareness
- Interpersonal skills:
* Be a good communicator and able to convince about all decisions taken
* Ability to hold visits and contacts, for Senior UW including senior account managers
- Internal leadership behaviour (if applicable):
* Build relationships with other core functions (Credit Analysts, MMCD, Claims…)
- External leadership behaviour (if applicable):
* Act as a trustee risk advisor for customers
Preferred (NICE TO HAVE):
Ability to build long-term customer relationships, even in a context of restrictive decisions and deteriorated market.

- Loss Ratio.
