Roles & Responsibilities:
o Initiate, develop, and implements appropriate lending policies and procedures
o Create the credit risk framework from scratch for retail loan portfolio
o Modelling in R/Python to develop PD models with skewed data
o Using SQL and excel for data extraction and analysis
o Monitor and manage the overall credit risk
o Oversee and provide active management of the FLOOSS credit analysis function
o Ensure maintenance of credit standards
o Assist in determining the adequacy of the allowance for loan losses
o Primary liaison to examiners, loan review, and external auditors
o Building up ofsector/industry wise specialiststo forecastthe economic climates, identify niche areas for credit
growth, risk mitigation etc.
o Maintain high quality credit portfolio in diversified sectors and customer segments along with commensurate
risk-based returns.
o Take lead in bringing process changes for faster delivery and customer delight
o Work with data scientists on building new score models, and customer profiles.
o Build collection models and algorithms that identify customer paying patterns
o Build credit risk models and experiments on the machine learning and AI platforms.
o Build macroeconomic impact to loan portfolio and customer behaviour.
o Overseeing the collection, storage, management, quality and protection of data.
o Implementing data privacy policies and complying with data protection regulations.
o Support Senior Management with consumer risk reporting needs
o Ensure effective design and oversight of the consumer quality function; identify the scope and prioritize local
quality control resources
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in information system or related field
• 5 - 10 years’ experience in banking /financial sector with expertise in credit delivery/ underwriting of Corporate,
SME & Retail
• Handon experience in credit model creation in ML
• 5 to 10 years of experience in credit lending organization with expertise in model based underwriting.
• Experience of working in a financial services sector consumer loans and microloans
• Machine learning and AI system hands-on experience
• Hands on experience in R/Python, Advanced excel,
• Hands on experience in data extraction using SQL
• Knowledge of a variety of reporting procedures, regulations and law
• Planning and Time Management
• Effective Communication and Human Relations skills
• Strong Analytical Skills and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of relevant applications, big data solutions, and tools.
