Our client is a leading company in the event services industry, specializing in creating and executing exceptional events that captivate audiences. They are seeking a highly talented and experienced Creative Director to join their dynamic team in Riyadh.

Job Brief:

As a Creative Director, you will lead the creative vision and execution of events, working closely with clients and internal teams to bring innovative concepts to life. Your artistic sensibility, strategic thinking, and leadership skills will be essential in crafting memorable and impactful event experiences.

Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership:

• Define and lead the creative direction for events, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand identity.
• Oversee the entire creative process, from conceptualization to final execution, ensuring the highest standards of quality.
• Inspire and manage a team of designers, event planners, and production staff to deliver outstanding creative solutions.

Concept Development:

• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to develop event concepts that are innovative, engaging, and visually compelling.
• Create and present visual representations of concepts, such as sketches, mood boards, and digital mock-ups.
• Ensure that all creative elements are cohesive and contribute to a unified event experience.

Technical and Design Proficiency:

• Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and SketchUp to develop event designs.
• Oversee the technical aspects of event production, including lighting, audio-visual elements, staging, and set design.
• Ensure that creative solutions are both innovative and practical, meeting budget and production constraints.

Client and Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with clients to understand their vision and provide creative solutions that exceed expectations.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
• Present creative concepts to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating the vision and value of the proposed ideas.

Innovation and Trendsetting:

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new creative practices.
• Push the boundaries of traditional event design, incorporating cutting-edge techniques and ideas.
• Aim to set trends within the industry, positioning the company as a leader in innovative event design.

Budget and Project Management:

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring creative solutions are cost-effective and within financial constraints.
• Oversee the management of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in architecture, interior design, or a related field. A Masters degree or specialized certification is advantageous.
• Minimum of 3-5 years in event design, creative direction, or a similar role. Proven leadership experience in managing creative teams.
• A strong portfolio showcasing successful and innovative events or creative projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
• Strong aesthetic sense with the ability to create cohesive and compelling event designs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate creative ideas clearly to clients and teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
