About the job CPU Manager

Position Title: CPU Manager


Reporting to: Operations Manager


Company Overview:


Our client is a leading company in the food and beverage industry, renowned for creating innovative concepts. They manage a portfolio of five brands, all founded and operated entirely in Saudi Arabia. They are currently seeking an experienced Central Kitchen Unit (CPU) Manager to join their team in Riyadh.


Position Overview


The CPU Manager will oversee the operations of the Central Production Unit to ensure an efficient production process, maintain high quality standards, and meet production targets and deadlines. The CPU Manager will develop strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, enhance quality, and ensure high standards of production output while adhering to regulatory compliance measures and company policies.


Responsibilities


- Adhere to company rules and fulfill assigned responsibilities, with an understanding that duties may extend beyond specific tasks outlined.


- Maintain professional conduct, showing respect and courtesy to all colleagues.


- Adhere to the dress code and utilize professional communication skills.


- Maintain proper hygiene, accurate attendance, and mindful use of company property.


- Manage the overall operation of food production in the Central Production Unit, including planning, scheduling, execution, and management.


- Develop and implement food production plans and strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, enhance quality, and ensure high standards of production output.


- Lead, train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of production staff.


- Ensure production equipment and facilities undergo preventative and periodic maintenance.


- Perform data analysis to pinpoint challenges and suggest corrective actions.


- Collaborate with heads of departments and supervisors to ensure a smooth production process.


- Work with procurement, logistics, and quality control managers for material sourcing, inventory management, and quality control.


- Ensure adherence to quality control standards, regulatory compliance measures, company policies and procedures, and rules and regulations to maintain product integrity, superior quality, and customer satisfaction.


Requirements


- Bachelor's degree in Food Industry, Food Science, Food Safety, or equivalent.


- 5 to 7 years of experience in a related field.


- Proven experience in food production management, preferably in central production or manufacturing.


- Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.


- Proven records of achieving production targets and operational efficiency.


- Native Arabic speaker with fluency in English.

- Strong leadership and managerial skills; able to motivate and lead a diverse team.


- Excellent communication skills; able to work across departments.


- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
