Job Description
Job Purpose: A Country Manger will be responsible for providing long-range administrative direction, managing the logistics business and key account activities, and providing support to the development of in-country management capability to deliver the same.
- Create, develop and manage the P&L of Logistic solution business in KSA.
- Manage Sales and Operation team and guide them to achieve the business target.
- Prospective client research and reaching out to them.
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer
- Accounts.
- Discuss with the vendors for getting good rates.
- Supervise and push the operations team for service delivery to ensure timely delivery as
- promised.
- Following up for payment from the client and minimizing the AR (Accounts Receivable)
- Quoting or filing rates based on file rates, freight - seek offers from transporters (sea, air, road)
- from operations team and then send quote to prospective client and follow-up.
- Assist in documentation with the client (credit form, T&C of Proconnect) and internal
- documentation (Credit Recommendation Form submitted to credit team) to safeguard the
- company from undue risk.
- Arrange & accompany credit visit for credit team.
- On sale raise invoice on client in coordination with operations.
- Call existing customers and follow up on enquiries.
- Share feedback to operations team about the expected rates for acquiring a client and coordinate
- for smooth execution.
- Keeping track of conversion ratio and assess our strength by analyzing performance Vs Expected numbers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements, achieving operational efficiencies, and successfully managing supply chain operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- APICS or other relevant certification is a plus.
- Arabic speaking preferred.
