They are the engine that powers Accenture, enabling us to provide the capabilities and expertise that clients need to help them become high-performance businesses.The Market Unit (MU) Corporate Citizenship (CC) Lead plays an essential role in delivering the outcomes of the North America and Global Corporate Citizenship programs.The MU CC Lead will undertake the strategic market-facing activities that can only be effectively executed locally, including relationship development and management; local Leadership support and insights; marketplace representation with government, clients, peers and partners; and creating locally resonant programming that align with global priorities. They will collaborate with and guide the work of team members across the Global network who will support the operational aspects of the CC program.Principal Accountabilities:
  • Activating global Corporate Citizenship strategy: Develop and execute strategies to position Accenture as a good corporate citizen in the MU and drive social and environmental impact in the communities in which we work and live, aligned to the global CC strategy. Collaborate cross markets to share best practice, identifying teaming opportunities, and representing the MU in the global CC network. Lead efforts to increase ROI by aligning CC investment, strategy and credentials to wider business priorities. ​
  • Portfolio and Finance Management: Manage Citizenship Partner and Program Portfolio to achieve MU ambition and measurable impacts, including: 
    • overseeing development and launch of new projects, products and partnerships
    • sourcing, qualifying, shaping and proposing opportunities for investment via cash giving and pro bono consulting
    • shaping and managing the execution of the Social Innovation program
    • ensuring robust due diligence and oversight on all CC investment spend
    • managing MU Local Giving, Pro Bono and Volunteering budgets and pipeline to achieve spend targets and impact goals ​
  • Stakeholder Management: Actively engage and manage all relevant internal stakeholders (MU SMD / Lead, MU Leadership Team, MU CC Sponsor / CCC Member, client team leadership, and local CC sponsors) to drive the social impact agenda across the MU. Collaborate with Corporate Function leads to deliver additional return on investment by ensuring our social impact also reflects wider business priorities. ​
  • Relationship Building: Build and manage effective relationships with NGOs, ecosystem partners and clients to enable delivery of MU citizenship goals
  • Employee Engagement and Participation: Oversee delivery of locally resonant employee engagement activities alongside Market Support and People Participation teams, including employee giving, disaster relief efforts, volunteering
  • Drive innovation: Spearhead Corporate Citizenship change initiatives in the MU.  Identify and propose new products to support MU, Market and Global Corporate Citizenship and drive continuous improvement of Citizenship programs.​
  • Marketplace profile: Serve as the internal and external Corporate Citizenship champion in the local market to expand Accenture and CC marketplace visibility and strengthen client positioning.  Support RFPs, business development efforts, and client conversations.  Support leadership for external events/briefings ​
  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Oversee measurement and actively manage the performance of corporate citizenship program across the MU portfolio ​
  • MarComms: Surface ideas and collaborate with M&C to promote Accenture Social Impact internally and externally.​
  • Team and resource management:  Lead a high-performance team of permanent, pro bono and volunteer team members within MU, Market, and the Global CC hubs to achieve program results.
  • Other:  Support implementation of programs as requested by the Market Corporate Citizenship Managing Director, MU Corporate Citizenship Sponsor, and MU SMD / Lead.
ey Functional Skills/Knowledge:
  • A Saudi National with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and workstreams across multiple project teams 
  • Project shaping and setup through to implementation and resulting change management
  • Data interrogation and analysis
  • Workshop facilitation and design thinking
  • Self-motivated & able to work with some level of ambiguity
  • Experience of working across cultures and managing teams across geographies
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, or other related field.
  • Minimum of 4 to 5  years’ experience in a corporate giving or leadership role within a nonprofit or community organization.
  • A passion for corporate social responsibility and sustainability. Experience of CSR or non-profit / development sector is an advantage.
