Advanced smelting Industries Co. (ASIC), which is equally owned by Tasnee.

The smelter is situated in the Jizan Economic City and is designed to smelt ilmenite (Titanium rich mineral sand) to produce Titania Dioxide slag and pig iron. The plant consists of two Electric Arc furnaces, each with a capacity of 250kt slag and 125kt pig iron. The slag that is produced is tapped from the furnace and processed to be used as feed stock for the titanium chlorination and sulphuric acid processes to finally produce Titanium pigment which is mainly used in paints and plastics.

An exciting opportunity is available for Security, Coordinator Based in Jizan and will report directly to Superintendent, Safety.

About the role:

Highly organized and detail-oriented individual, in this role, he will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being and protection of our employees, visitors, and assets as per HCIS & TASNEE requirements.

You will be responsible to:

• Authorized person to coordinate with HCIS regarding project approvals and approvals of new candidates for employment in EHSS department.
• Approved person by HCIS to receive security reports and security threats.
• Conduct regular security audits to identify potential hazards or vulnerabilities and create action plans to address them.
• Collaborate with department managers to develop and deliver security training programs for employees, including emergency response procedures.
• Maintain and update safety and security manuals, documents, and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Coordinate with external agencies, such as HCIS and RC and fire departments, to ensure effective emergency response and incident management.
• Monitor security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, and alarms, and promptly respond to any identified issues or alarms.
• Investigate and report on EHSS incidents, including accidents, theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor / Diploma degree in a relevant field such as safety management, security management, or criminal justice.

Minimum Experience:

5 years of experience or more in safety management.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of safety and security regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate safety and security information to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in the use of security systems, such as access control, surveillance cameras, and alarms.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change within the organization.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
