POSITION OVERVIEW:


  • The COO is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving property development, ensuring operational efficiency, and managing asset management and leasing strategies in the hospitality company.

KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE:


Property Development Management
  • Oversee the entire development process from land acquisition to project completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on budget and on schedule.
  • Collaborate with architects and contractors to optimize designs.

Strategic Planning and Execution


  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to ensure strategic objectives are met.

Operational Management


  • Oversee the daily operations of hotels, resorts, and restaurants.
  • Ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards across departments (e.g., housekeeping, F&B, guest services).
  • Streamline processes for cost-efficiency and quality service.

Financial Oversight


  • Monitor and manage operational budgets.
  • Collaborate on financial planning to ensure profitability.
  • Implement cost-effective strategies for improved profitability.

Leadership and Team Management


  • Lead and motivate teams to achieve performance standards.
  • Conduct performance reviews and ensure staff are well-trained.

Guest Experience and Service Quality


  • Monitor guest satisfaction and implement strategies to enhance the experience.
  • Handle complaints and maintain a high-quality reputation.

Compliance and Safety


  • Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry laws and trends.

Technology and Innovation


  • Lead the adoption of technology for improved operational efficiency.
  • Work with IT teams for the integration of systems like property management and booking platforms.

Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement


  • Streamline workflows and implement real estate management software.
  • Oversee the management of completed properties and facilities.

Sales, Leasing, and Asset Management


  • Develop strategies for property leasing and marketing.
  • Manage tenant relationships and ensure long-term profitability of assets.
