Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consultation & Advisory: Provide expert advice on control systems design, configuration, and optimization. Assess client needs and offer tailored solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • System Design & Engineering: Develop and design control systems solutions based on client requirements. Create system specifications, architecture diagrams, and configuration plans.
  • Implementation & Integration: Oversee the installation and integration of control systems. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes, and manage system commissioning.
  • Optimization & Troubleshooting: Analyze control system performance and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues.
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation including design specifications, installation guides, user manuals, and maintenance procedures. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Training & Support: Train client personnel and internal teams on control system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Provide ongoing support and guidance as needed.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure control systems comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices. Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Project Management: Manage control systems projects, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.


Skills

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Control Systems Technician, PMP) are a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Control Systems Consultant or in a similar role. Experience with [specific control systems or technologies relevant to your industry] is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of control systems design, configuration, and optimization.
  • Proficiency with control system software and hardware (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, DCS).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to travel to client sites if required.
  • Experience with safety regulations and standards related to control systems is advantageous.
