Control Room Operator

 PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Operate and control the operation of cement production line and make necessary contact with the maintenance teams in site for troubleshooting problems to ensure the minimum interruption of the production operations and achieve the planned production target.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect the status of the equipment and prepare brief or summary information about any repair work conducted during the shift and provide the relevant documents to next shift to ensure smooth operation and avoid potential production interruption.
• Apply the Safety instructions and Follow up the isolation procedures to guarantee the equipment isolation during maintenance and repair activities to guarantee safety during repair work.
• Prepare raw mill, Kiln & cement mill for startup and monitor the operation parameters to ensure steady state operation.
• Manage mill feeding, monitor raw meal & Clinker quality and take actions according to quality manual to guarantee that mill product meets specification.
• Monitor Kiln operation parameters, manage operating problems "Overheat, hot spots, and cyclone blockage" monitor environmental emissions and take appropriate actions to ensure safe and steady operation.
• Monitor the quality indications of the produced clinker and the deviations from standards to guarantee product quality.
• Identify and communicate clearly on potentially dangerous situation and get confirmation they are correctly understood and handled efficiently aiming at protecting employees and equipment’s.
• Arrange for maintenance with the maintenance team during shift to ensure the calibration schedules are met.
