Job Description
We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients, and we are currently seeking a highly experienced Contract Manager to join our team and oversee prime projects within the Project Management Office (PMO). Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, and management of contracts for PMO projects
Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, and stakeholders to ensure that contracts meet project requirements and are in compliance with company policies and legal regulations
Implement effective contract management processes and tools to monitor key contractual obligations, deliverables, and deadlines
Lead contract negotiations and discussions with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to achieve favorable terms and conditions
Analyze contract performance and make recommendations for improvements or amendments to optimize project outcomes
Provide guidance and support to project teams on contract-related issues and risks
Ensure that all parties involved in the contracts are aware of their obligations and responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation and records
Conduct regular contract reviews and audits to identify and address potential risks and issues
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure alignment with contract requirements and project objectives
Lead the resolution of contract disputes and claims, working closely with legal counsel and project teams to mitigate risks and protect the company's interests
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to contract management, and propose enhancements to existing processes and policies
Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and financial reporting related to contracts
Prepare regular reports and updates on contract performance, milestones, and liabilities for senior management and project stakeholders
Contribute to the development of standardized contract templates, guidelines, and procedures to streamline the contract management process across the PMO
Participate in contract kick-off meetings, project reviews, and other project-related discussions to provide contractual insights and guidance
Monitor and assess the performance of subcontractors and suppliers, including compliance with contract terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards
Conduct training sessions and workshops for project teams to enhance their understanding of contract management principles and best practices
Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process efficiencies within the contract management function
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or a related field
Minimum of 13 years of experience in contract management, preferably within the PMO environment
Proven track record of managing complex contracts and delivering successful project outcomes
Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and procurement practices
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Proficiency in contract management software and tools
Relevant certifications in contract management or project management (e.g., CPCM, PMP) will be an advantage
