Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Contract Manager with a robust background in contracts management and a minimum of 12 years of experience. Experience with tramway projects is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be adept at overseeing contractual agreements, ensuring compliance, and managing relationships with stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contract Administration:
  • Develop, review, and manage contracts and agreements for construction and design projects, with a focus on transportation infrastructure.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are met by coordinating with legal teams, project managers, and contractors.
Contract Negotiation:
  • Lead negotiations of contract terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization.
  • Resolve contract disputes and issues through effective negotiation and problem-solving.
Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Monitor compliance with contractual terms and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related inquiries and issues.
  • Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all contracts, amendments, and correspondence.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on contract performance, risks, and compliance to senior management.
Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that all contractual documentation is accurate and reflects the agreed-upon terms.
  • Conduct periodic audits of contract performance and compliance.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify areas for improvement in contract management processes and procedures.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in contract administration.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Construction Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CCM, CPCM) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in contract management, preferably within the construction or transportation sectors. Experience with tramway projects is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in contract management software and tools. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
