We are seeking a highly experienced Contract Management Senior Manager to lead efforts in enhancing our contract tracking and management processes from initiation to closure. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing comprehensive reports, maintaining a detailed risk register, and coaching internal staff to build long-term capability in contract management practices. This short-term, high-impact role requires hands-on expertise to deliver improvements within a two-month project window.
Key Responsibilities:Enhance Contract Tracking:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, from initiation to closure, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
- Identify gaps in current contract management practices and implement improvements.
Develop Comprehensive Reports:
- Provide detailed reports that track contract performance and milestones.
- Deliver periodic progress updates and a final project summary report, highlighting risks and opportunities.
Maintain a Risk Register:
- Establish and maintain a detailed risk register to proactively identify and manage contract-related risks.
- Provide mitigation strategies and ensure risks are tracked throughout the project.
Staff Coaching & Knowledge Transfer:
- Mentor and coach existing staff on best practices in contract management, fostering skill development.
- Conduct workshops and one-on-one sessions to ensure smooth knowledge transfer.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand specific contract requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring all contract management activities meet the organization’s standards and objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:- 15+ years of contract management experience, with proven success in tracking and managing contracts through their entire lifecycle.
- Expertise in reporting, risk management, and performance tracking.
- Strong background in mentoring and coaching internal teams in contract management practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working on short-term, high-impact projects is preferred.
