Job Description

The Contract/Claim Manager plays a pivotal role in the construction and building industry, particularly within the electric power production and transmission sectors. This position involves overseeing contract management processes, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and effectively managing claims and disputes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in contract law and project management, enabling them to navigate complex contractual environments and mitigate risks associated with claims.

Responsibilities:

1.    Prepare project procedures (controlling procedure, document procedure) 

2.    Draft and review project contracts including related management works

3.    Review and analyze contracts to identify potential risks and liabilities.

4.    Satisfaction, interface and coordination control to Customer (Owner companies)

5.    Cooperation, interface and coordination control to Consortium/Partner companies

6.    Prepare and implement responses to claims including related management works

7.    Collaborate with project managers and legal teams to assess and negotiate contract terms.

8.    Manage and maintain contract-related documents and records

9.    Ensure compliance with relevant permits, laws and regulations

10. Provide solutions and execute plans for resolving contract-related issues

11. Monitor project progress and report on contract status, interface control using project related communication channels

  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Proficient in contract management software and tools.
  6. Experience in the construction and electric power sectors.
  7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  9. Proven track record of successful claim management.
  10. Willingness to travel as required for project oversight.
