Job Description
  • Tendering of subcontract packages including compilation and approval of tender documents and proposed tender list, issue of documents, receipt of tenders, comparison of tenders and submission of tender recommendations for approval;
  • Prepare contract documents for each trade package/subcontract;
  • In association with the Project Director, assist with administration of subcontract packages including progress claims, variation claims and other project related financial matters;
  • Participate in the submission of monthly consolidated reporting in the areas of cash flow forecasting, variation status, contractual matters and cost analysis.
  • Establish an effective site or office-based system for the effective administration of projects in line with company procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure that all records are accurate and up to date;
  • Responsible for preparing bids and negotiating specifications for materials, equipment, manpower, or other construction services while ensuring that projects remain within the established budget;
  • Create regular status reports regarding progress on projects

Skills & Competencies:


  • Strong coordination skills in English, business development skills and excellent written and verbal communications skills;
  • A team-oriented and results-focus;
  • Able to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the business;
  • Able to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision-making skills;
  • Have an extensive understanding of the construction industry, flexibility and a talent for negotiation;
  • Robust commercial awareness, strong client liaison skills, project and time management, and team leadership;
  • Must have excellent analytical thinking skills and problem solving abilities;
  • Excellent in MS Office.

Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or Contracts Management with a large contracting company, preferably with Main Contractor;
  • Experience in the Middle East is highly preferred;
  • You should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying or Construction/ Project Management, Commerce or Economics; a Master’s in Business Administration is an advantage.
  • Flexible and ready to relocate in Saudi.
