Job Description:
We are partnering with a well-established company in Saudi Arabia. They specialize in energy and infrastructure projects. They provide services including EPC contracting, pipeline and pump solutions, offshore and onshore survey services, and engineering solutions.
Currently, they are looking for a Contract Administrator to join their team in Al Khobar and play a pivotal role in contract management and administration.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for EPC projects, ensuring compliance with company policies, Aramco's guidelines, and legal requirements.
- Administer and manage all stages of the contract lifecycle, from initiation through execution to closure.
- Monitor contract performance, ensuring adherence to terms and timelines while identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all contracts, amendments, and correspondence.
2. Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure that all project documentation complies with Aramco's requirements, regulations, and quality standards.
- Ensure proper contract execution in alignment with local and international legal frameworks.
- Prepare and review contractual correspondence to ensure legal and financial protection for the company.
3. Claims & Dispute Resolution:
- Assess and manage contract claims, change orders, variations, and delays related to EPC projects.
- Collaborate with project management teams and other stakeholders to resolve disputes efficiently, in accordance with Aramco's contract policies and procedures.
- Provide recommendations for corrective actions or solutions to mitigate risks and prevent disputes.
4. Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams (legal, procurement, finance, project management) to ensure smooth contract execution.
- Interface with external stakeholders, including suppliers, subcontractors, and Aramco representatives, to manage contract terms and deliverables.
- Ensure seamless communication between the project team and Aramco's contract management team.
5. Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
- Provide regular updates and reports on contract status, risks, and compliance to senior management.
- Monitor contract performance to ensure deadlines and budgets are met, identifying potential delays or overruns early.
- Assist with audits and evaluations of contract performance.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in contract administration within EPC projects, specifically with Saudi Aramco or similar large-scale organizations.
- Proven experience in handling complex, high-value contracts for construction, engineering, and procurement projects.
- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco's standard contracts, procurement processes, and project delivery frameworks.
- Knowledge of Aramco's quality control, health, safety, and environmental standards.
