In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing expert ophthalmic care, diagnosing and treating a variety of eye conditions, and performing surgical procedures as needed. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the overall visual well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and assess patients' medical histories.
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy.
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests.
- Conduct and assist in surgical procedures, including cataract surgery and laser treatments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Educate patients and families on eye health and preventive care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in the field of ophthalmology through continuing education.
