Must hold SCHS classification in a relevant specialty
Primary Certification
- Saudi Board certification in Emergency Medicine with subspecialty fellowship - American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) - Certification in the College of Family Practice of Canada (Emergency Medicine) CCFP (EM) - Fellowship of the Faculty of Accident and Emergency Medicine (FFAEM) (UK) - Fellowship of the Australian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM)
- Arab or Saudi Board certification in Emergency Medicine - Jordanian Board certification in Emergency Medicine - Egyptian Board certification in Emergency Medicine - Membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (MRCEM) (UK) - Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) or Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) with at least two (2) years of experience in Emergency Medicine - Saudi Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or General Surgery with a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in Emergency Medicine
Work Experience
- At least five (5) years post specialty training experience if without subspecialty fellowship
- Two (2) years of experience in Emergency Medicine if holding MRCP or MRCS - Five (5) years of work experience in Emergency Medicine if holding Saudi Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or General Surgery
