Consultant, Health, Safety, and Environmental

Role Summary:

supporting the Advisory and Consultancy projects by developing, reviewing, and enforcing all HSE policies and procedures. This includes a comprehensive review of all ISO 45001 documentation and requirements, ensuring full compliance with international safety management standards. In addition to policy development and ISO certification oversight, the HSE Consultant will handle all projects that have HSE SOW. lead safety risk assessments, safety audits, and incident management, ensuring that safety measures are continuously monitored and improved.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and implement HSE strategies, policies, and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and recommend appropriate control measures to mitigate risks.
• Ensure the organization’s operations comply with all relevant local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs to our clients, ensuring a clear understanding of safety protocols.
• Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, or near misses, ensuring root cause analysis is performed and corrective actions are implemented.
• Regularly perform safety audits, inspections, and drills to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare detailed reports on HSE performance, including safety statistics, audit results, and any regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies to ensure seamless communication and compliance.
• Monitor industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, recommending improvements to enhance safety performance.
• Oversee environmental sustainability initiatives, including waste management, pollution prevention, and energy conservation programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• +10 years of experience in various rules.
• (NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH) are highly desirable.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
