Environmental Consultant – Strategy & Advisory Team


Location: Riyadh, KSA


Role Overview


Our Strategic Advisory team is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our KSA-based team. The successful candidate will bring proven experience in environmental consulting, particularly on large-scale international projects, ideally in KSA, UAE, and the wider Middle East region.


The role requires expertise in coordinating and delivering Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies, contributing environmental insights to master planning, and preparing and implementing construction-related environmental management plans, including site monitoring and auditing.

Key Responsibilities


  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to develop integrated environmental strategies and design solutions, providing subject matter expertise to key clients.


  • Support sustainability policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines at organizational or portfolio levels.


  • Prepare EIAs and provide environmental inputs for master plans and feasibility studies supporting major infrastructure delivery.


  • Conduct environmental audits on construction sites to ensure compliance with environmental management plans.


  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and certification bodies to secure statutory and certification approvals for sustainability components.


  • Collect and analyze data from diverse sources to create clear, well-written technical reports.


Education & Qualifications


  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Environment, Sustainability, or related fields.


  • Postgraduate qualifications in environmental or related subjects are preferred.


Professional Experience


  • 2–3 years of experience in delivering EIAs and their application to projects in the Middle East and internationally.


  • In-country experience in KSA, focusing on multidisciplinary work in large-scale master planning, design, and infrastructure projects.


  • Strong EIA coordination skills.


  • Expertise in developing technical reports aligned with local and international best practices.


  • Membership in professional bodies like the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM), or similar institution is advantageous.
