We are seeking a highly skilled Construction QA Engineer to oversee and ensure the quality of construction projects. The QA Engineer will be responsible for monitoring project activities, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality assurance (QA) plans and procedures for construction projects.
Monitor construction processes and ensure compliance with design documents, technical specifications, and safety standards.
Conduct inspections and audits of materials, equipment, and workmanship on-site.
Review and validate contractor and subcontractor work against approved plans and specifications.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA reports and documentation, including non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Assist in resolving quality issues by coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Conduct tests on construction materials to verify compliance with required standards.
Ensure that all project deliverables meet client and regulatory requirements.
Train and guide construction personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in construction quality assurance or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, or ISO standards).
Familiarity with QA/QC tools and methodologies used in the construction industry.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using QA software and tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera, or similar).
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or construction quality control is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with large-scale construction projects.
Knowledge of safety standards such as OSHA or equivalent.
Proficiency in construction management software.
Preferably with interior fit-out experience
