Job Description

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Manage project documentation and reporting.
  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Track project costs and identify potential cost-saving measures.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to clients and upper management.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and building codes.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Implement quality control procedures and documentation.
  • Develop and implement safety plans and procedures.
  • Conduct safety inspections and training.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
  • Lead and motivate construction teams.
  • Resolve conflicts and disputes among team members.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Communicate project progress and address client concerns.
  • Ensure client satisfaction with project outcomes.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager on similar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction principles, methods, and materials.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Certification in Construction Management (e.g., CMIT, CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) is desirable.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, time and project management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
