We are looking for a skilled Construction BIM (Building Information Modeling) Modeler to join our team. The BIM Modeler will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating digital 3D models to support the planning, design, construction of projects preferably with interior fit-out experience. This role plays a critical part in ensuring project efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration among all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage 3D BIM models using software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure accurate representation of project designs and specifications.
Prepare detailed 2D drawings, schedules, and other construction documents from BIM models.
Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues among different disciplines (structural, architectural, MEP, etc.).
Update and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle to reflect changes and modifications.
Create and manage project-specific BIM libraries, templates, and standards.
Conduct quality checks to ensure model accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Assist in the integration of BIM models with construction management processes, including quantity takeoffs and scheduling.
Stay updated on BIM technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
Provide support and training to team members on BIM-related processes and tools. Required Skills and Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Proven experience as a BIM Modeler or a similar role in construction projects.
Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and similar tools.
Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and standards.
Knowledge of 3D modeling, coordination, and clash detection processes.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to interpret and work from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in BIM or related areas (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional).
Experience with 4D (time) and 5D (cost) BIM integration.
Familiarity with Dynamo, Rhino, or other advanced modeling tools.
Experience in large-scale or complex construction projects.
Work Environment:
Primarily office-based with occasional site visits.
