Job Description
The Consolidation Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the accurate and efficient processing of outbound shipments, ensuring transfer orders (TOs) are handled correctly, and working closely with multiple teams to ensure smooth operations within the warehouse. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of shipments, minimizing errors, and supporting overall logistics flow.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Transfer Order Protocols:
- Ensure adherence to transfer order protocols for accurate and timely processing of shipments.
- Collaborate with the picking and shipping departments to verify that all transfer orders are processed without delays or errors.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure no issues arise in transfer orders, taking immediate action to resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure no mixing of Transfer Orders (TOs) during the consolidation process, maintaining order accuracy at all times.
2. Coordination and Collaboration:
- Effectively coordinate with various teams involved in the outbound process to ensure timely and accurate shipping.
- Act as the main point of contact between the picking, shipping, and consolidation teams to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
3. Operational Oversight:
- Oversee the consolidation process, ensuring that all shipments are consolidated accurately and within the designated timeframe.
- Monitor the quality and accuracy of shipments, making adjustments to the process when necessary to prevent errors.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to optimize the consolidation process and improve operational performance.
4. Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure that all consolidation and transfer order activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all consolidation activities and provide regular reports to management.
- Report any discrepancies, issues, or delays in real-time to ensure prompt resolution.
