Job Description
Carry-out online and off-line vibration analysis as set out by the planned preventive maintenance program. Advice Mechanical Shift in Charge for any abnormalities and provides recommendations for faults found, supplies information and data to support decisions. Ensure all test equipment and specialize tools are in good working condition
- PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze condition monitoring data inspections, electronic data, and site condition and equipment history.
- Use software tools (Application Management System suite and Microsoft office) to analyze condition monitoring data
- Perform vibration analysis of rotating machinery by acquiring vibration data using different data acquisition
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment faults and be able to utilize various techniques to determine root cause of failure
- Works with other departments in multi- disciplined or multi-cultural environment to optimize use of resources, investigate and determine failures, carry-out repair actions and planned maintenance activities
- Effective decision-making processes based on investigative and troubleshooting techniques
- Produce a report of equipment that has problems or trends that could indicate failure
- Research and develop action plans for machines based on all available service information such as service letters, failure analysis and historical data
- Advises Mechanical ln Charge, Mechanical Planner & Chief Engineer for any abnormalities and provides recommendation for faults found, supplies information and data to support decisions
- Perform duties assign to Central Maintenance Department in any plant of Kuwait Steel and do maintenance activities during roughing change, size change & mil I breakdown when needed.
- Ensure all test equipment and specialize tools (Emerson machinery health analyzer) are in good order and have current certification. Brings to the attention of their supervisor any equipment defects, ensuring equipment repairs are completed in a planned and timely manner
- Develops knowledge of process operations in order to recognize impacts to production caused by maintenance and failure of mechanical equipment.
- Ensure quality of work through adherence to standards procedures and sound technical work practices. Assists in development of procedures and processes, hazard reviews and job safety of personnel and equipment and protection of the environment.
- Collect and review of the oil condition reports (frequency 3-months) data base ensuring that it is up-to-date and captures changes as new equipment is added and old equipment is removed
- Preparation of mechanical spares list of equipment, inventory control and purchase request & maintain the spare parts of new mechanical equipment
- Keep the workplace clean. always observes safety standards & requirements

- Job Qualifications
- Education: At least a graduate of Engineering Technology
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Condition Monitoring of machineries, machine fitting and installation works
