The Job in a Nutshell💡
We are looking for a proactive Compliance Specialist to assist in supporting the regulatory and compliance functions within Foodics.
This entry-level position requires fluency in English and up to one year of experience in compliance or regulatory work.
The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day regulatory activities, ensuring that Foodics Pay operates in full compliance with local laws and internal policies. The role reports directly to the Compliance
Lead and involves regular interaction with internal teams to facilitate smooth compliance processes.
What Will You Do❓
- Daily Compliance Coordination: Assist the Compliance Lead in managing day-to-day compliance activities and ensuring all departments are aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Document Management: Maintain accurate and organized records of regulatory and compliance documentation, ensuring that all files are audit-ready and accessible.
- Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments, including Legal, Operations, and Finance, to ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track compliance metrics and prepare reports for internal review, ensuring any issues or breaches are escalated to the Compliance Lead.
- Audit Support: Assist in preparing for internal and external audits by gathering necessary documentation and supporting compliance efforts.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay informed of any regulatory changes that may impact Foodics Pay and communicate these updates to the team.
What Are We Looking For❓
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 year or less of experience in compliance or regulatory roles (entry-level candidates with relevant academic backgrounds are welcome).
- Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- - Familiarity with fintech or payments industry.
- - Basic knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing financial services.
