Job Description

Job Purpose / Objective :


Support and oversee remuneration initiatives across HMG to ensure competitive market positioning to attract, reward and retain top talents through dynamic structures, benefit baskets, motivating high performers, and benchmarking with healthcare sector within the Kingdom and internationally.   


Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities  :


  • Develop and implement market led compensation & benefits and reward strategies to improve effectiveness of compensation administration.
  • Handle increment, promotion and contract renewal cycles.
  • Participate in compensation surveys.
  • Propose C&B processes like the salary planning, bonus planning, new benefits introduction, etc.
  • Analyze different components of the remuneration scheme in the HMG and prepares reports about the internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Review and provide management planning and control information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing employee benefit and compensation data and trends.
  • Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines.
  • Perform and review position evaluation and internal salary benchmarking.
  • Review and process case studies for the staff for increments and promotions.
  • Recommend staff increments and promotion in the Lynx system through PAF promotion & Benefits change screen.
  • Ensure staff promotion and increment eligibility.
  • Provide the package breakdowns for payroll by analysing the current staff salaries by Nationality, Experience with HMG, etc.
  • Develop and review salary scales and benefit matrix in the HRIS for all the newly created positions for all projects.
  • Provide solutions to the recruitment staff queries regarding the salary scale, benefit matrix and also the package breakdowns for all the projects.
  • Assist the payroll team regarding the staff salary modifications.
  • Develop various reports to the management based on the business requirements.
  • Coordinate with the IT staff to solve the issues in the HRIS and Lynx.
  • Act as business expert in all matters relating to Compensation and Benefits, advising senior managers and the HR team on all issues.
  • Review current processes and recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Manage team relations, disputes and grievances.
  • Review performance of staff and perform counselling on unsatisfactory performance. In addition, discuss personnel and administrative issues and address and solve problems among staff.
  • Support the department activities in coordination with relevant section and department.
  • Orient, monitor and guide subordinates; review their appraisals in time and ensure their professional development.
  • Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
  • Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
  • Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his knowledge, skills and abilities.

Education/ Professional Qualification:


  • Bachelor’s Degree/ Human Resource or Business Administration or Organizational Development or related

Experience:


  • Al least (5) years of experience in developing salary scales, job evaluation, salary benchmarking and salary surveys.

Professional Licensing / Certification / Training:


  • Relevant certifications, preferably SPHR/PHR, CHRP
