Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Community Engagement Specialist to oversee, grow, and nurture our newly launched communities feature within the app. The ideal candidate will moderate user interactions to ensure a positive, safe environment, create content that fosters engagement, and facilitate meaningful discussions. You will also be responsible for reviewing reported messages and profiles, while driving community participation and user satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Monitor community interactions and moderate discussions to ensure adherence to community guidelines, addressing inappropriate content or behavior promptly.


  • Review and resolve flagged or reported content, including user profiles, messages, and posts.


  • Develop and post engaging content that encourages discussion, community-building, and participation from users.


  • Foster healthy, inclusive conversations within communities by responding to messages, initiating discussions, and promoting user contributions.


  • Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback on community features and suggest improvements.


  • Plan and execute community-driven events within the app, encouraging users to participate and connect.


  • Track and analyze community metrics to gauge engagement and provide insights for optimizing community health.


  • Assist users with inquiries related to community guidelines, usage, and overall engagement, providing support as needed.


  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and product teams to align on broader user engagement strategies.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a community manager, social media manager, or in a similar role.


  • Strong understanding of community dynamics, content moderation, and user engagement tactics.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to foster relationships and engage diverse audiences.


  • Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and sound judgment.


  • Familiarity with mobile app-based communities and social networking features.


  • Creative mindset with a passion for creating content that inspires community participation.


  • Experience with content moderation tools and community management platforms.


  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • 3+ years experience in community-building, social media management, or event planning.


  • Knowledge of events and entertainment industry


  • Experience with content creation tools and social media management platforms.
