Summary


We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and dynamic communications professional to join THE LINE Project communications team. The ideal candidate will be a keen storyteller, possessing a wide range of hands-on skills, from internal communications to event management and stakeholder engagement.


Reporting to the communications director, the role requires the ability to translate complex technical language into easily understandable content, fostering awareness and engagement about one of the world’s most ambitious and transformative construction programs.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement strategic communications that align with and promote the vision and mission of THE LINE Project.
  • Actively engage with project leadership team to understand their needs and provide tailored communication solutions.
  • Collaborate with all project organization functions (design & engineering, construction, HR, procurement etc) to offer comprehensive communication support.
  • Deliver a variety of events, ranging from staff townhalls to stakeholder forums and site visits.
  • Coordinate with other communications team colleagues and external agencies, including creative designers and media production companies, to execute integrated campaigns and activities targeting specific stakeholder groups.
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships within the wider NEOM communications community, fostering an understanding of organizational requirements and priorities.
  • Monitor and evaluate communications and engagement activities to gauge effectiveness, pinpoint areas for improvement, and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Create engaging communication content for various channels, including newsletters, presentations, and town hall meetings.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to communications and engagement in construction projects, and leverage this knowledge to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience


  • A background in the construction sector or a similar field is desirable.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in communications is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify project needs, risks, and potential conflicts, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
