This role's responsibility is to clear transactions related to importing materials/products purchased for the company from all ports and customs offices in the country and finalize all necessary official documentation and procedures.

Responsibilities



Ensure that import duty exemption licenses are obtained and renewed by submitting applications and diligently following up with the Ministry of Industry. Recover the value of customs exemptions from the Customs Authority and initiate the refund process promptly once the shipment has been cleared and received. Consistently follow up on the organization of customs data and adherence to necessary commitments. Maintain a current, accurate, and timely record of all pertinent figures, including costs, number of shipments, weight, containers, delays, and the average duration of the clearance process. Conduct monthly audits of the clearance records file to ensure accuracy and compliance. Validate and process invoices from brokers methodically. Compile a consolidated monthly report detailing costs, deposits, and other relevant financial information with the Finance Department. Given the estimated annual expenditure of approximately $10 million, it is imperative that this data be accurate and prepared for any potential review during Saudi Customs' audit. Perform weekly reconciliations with Finance regarding refunds and deposits. Monitor the delivery and offloading process; ongoing data analysis ensures offloading efficiency and minimizes detention costs. Update the clearance flow chart to reflect any significant changes in the process, clearly identifying critical control points and associated risks, and review these updates with the supply chain team
QualificationsKnowledge/Skill:• Good command of the English language.• Expert in Microsoft Office with strength in Excel and PowerPoint.• Fundamental knowledge of the logistics.• Proficiency level in MS Office with strength in Excel and PowerPoint.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• 2-3 years experience in related filed highly preferred.
Education:• BA/BS is required in businessadministration or related quantitative discipline.
