This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects in the region.Key Responsibilities - Preparation of SOW & BOQ for Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) Prepare comprehensive Scope of Work (SOW) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for telecommunication projects, specifically for Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) systems and related accessories.- Telecommunication Equipment Design Review Conduct detailed design document reviews and approvals for telecommunication network systems based on FOC, including accessories through Ethernet switches (Layer 2 & Layer 3), GPRS modems, and RTU systems (such as ABB RTU560 & Selta).- RTU System Design and Review Involved in the design document review for Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) systems, including coordination for RTU installations and site supervision, ensuring compliance with client specifications.- Ethernet Switches & FOC Network Design Review and approve telecommunication design documents for Ethernet switches (Layer 2 & Layer 3) and FOC-based communication networks, ensuring robust data transmission and secure network configurations.- Site Supervision and Testing Provide oversight for site execution and witness testing of telecommunication equipment, ensuring systems meet design requirements and function according to project specifications.- Pretender and Post-Tender Clarifications Assist in preparing pretender and post-tender clarifications related to the telecommunications scope, providing technical inputs for both procurement and project teams.- RTU and Communication Equipment for Client Projects Review design documents and provide feedback for various projects involving communication equipment, RTU systems (such as Selta), and FOC links, ensuring alignment with client needs and regulatory standards.- Coordination with Stakeholders Work closely with clients, project managers, and other engineering teams to ensure telecommunication designs are integrated smoothly into broader project frameworks, while addressing any design-related queries.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in telecommunication design, review, and site supervision, particularly with FOC, RTU systems, and Ethernet networks.Strong understanding of telecommunication systems based on FOC, Ethernet switches (Layer 2 & Layer 3), GPRS modems, and RTU systems (ABB RTU560 & Selta).Experience in preparing SOW, BOQ, and technical clarifications during pre- and post-tender stages for telecommunication systems.Proven experience in site supervision, testing, and commissioning of telecommunication systems for large infrastructure projects.Knowledge of industry standards and practices related to FOC networks, telecommunication systems, and SCADA/RTU systems.Excellent communication skills and experience in collaborating with stakeholders, including clients and cross-disciplinary teams.Why choose AtkinsRéalisYour difference makes a difference.
