Job Description
Position Title: Commissioning Engineer
Department: ME General Assembly
Supervisor's position: General Assembly - ME Manager
The objective of Commissioning Engineer is to support/coordinate all facility/line installation & commissioning activities related to Project for General Assembly model launches.
Responsibility
- Lead all onsite facility commissioning activities related to General Assembly projects.
- Coordinate line try-out activities with line builder
- Coordinate vehicle part try-out across GA shop.
- Support onsite equipment buy-off activities.
- Responsible for liaising with all Line builders for Buy off book.
- Support onsite GA ME team for line trial activities.
- Scrubbing and creating spare list from the Line builder list.
- Capture and track all the commission issues and coordinate closure of action items with respective line builders.
- Strong capability in issue analysis.
- Well Knowledge in vehicle assembly, quality improvement.
- Updating required inputs for Launch metrics and General Assembly metrics in a timely manner during commissioning phase.
Qualifications
- Education Qualification: bachelor's in engineering
- No. of Years of Experience: 8+ years
- Professional Exposure: General Assembly Process
- Preferred previous experiences: Automotive OEM – Facility commissioning engineer
- Leadership Skills: Good Communication
- Functional/Technical Skills: Process sheet/BOM
- Special Knowledge Required: GA Shop facilities/process
- Special Skills Sets Required: Facility Commissioning, Problem solving
