Job Description

Qiddiya Investment Company is an innovative leader in the entertainment and leisure sector in Saudi Arabia, committed to delivering exceptional experiences through large-scale projects. We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Commercial Manager.


As the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for projects. You will collaborate closely with project teams to develop and implement effective commercial strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. In addition, you will be responsible for managing vendor contracts and stakeholder relationships to maximize value and mitigate risks.


Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates positive workplace behaviors, in line with the Qiddiya Values, at all times.
  • Supports, coaches and mentors’ junior staff to successfully contribute to the department deliverables.
  • Ensures that projects are delivered in accordance with the commercial terms and the best possible outcome is achieved both with respect to financial performance.
  • Supports cashflow management/process and cost reporting of the financial position.
  • Cashflow forecasting – accuracy of reporting to QIC to inform cash expenditure of the business and its funders.
  • Processes payment applications submitted by consultants and contractors through the QIC’s enterprise systems (e.g. Prism, SAP)
  • Highlights commercial risk, identifies potential major issues early, intervenes and facilitates the mitigation/resolution of issues at the earliest possible time to avoid formal disputes
  • Works closely with discipline/functional leads and teams to ensure consistent input into commercial reporting and oversight – Project Controls, legal, finance etc.
  • Administrates the contract and procurement sourcing activities to support QIC with procurement.
  • Contract administration processes through recommendations, updates, and changes to procurement policies and procedures.
