Job Description
The Collection Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the collection processes of the company Real Estate Company to ensure timely receipt of payments and minimize outstanding debts. This role involves managing a team of collection officers, developing effective collection strategies, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and tenants.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in collections within the real estate industry and a strong understanding of financial
regulations and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Collections Management
- Oversee daily collection activities to ensure targets are met.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce outstanding receivables and bad
debts.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collection efforts accordingly.
- Coordinate with the leasing and property management teams to address tenant payment issues.
Team Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and train the collections team to enhance performance and
efficiency.
- Assign tasks and monitor team members' progress and adherence to policies.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss challenges, updates, and
strategies.
Client and Tenant Relations
- Maintain open communication channels with clients and tenants regarding payment inquiries and disputes.
- Negotiate payment plans or settlements in line with company policies.
- Handle escalated cases professionally to preserve business relationships.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and present regular reports on collection activities, outstanding debts,
and recovery rates.
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Recommend policy changes or process enhancements based on analysis.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure all collection activities comply with legal requirements and company policies.
- Keep accurate records of all communications and transactions with clients
and tenants.
- Collaborate with the legal department on accounts requiring legal intervention.
Financial Coordination
- Work closely with the finance team to reconcile accounts and update financial records.
- Assist in budgeting forecasts by providing insights on expected receivables.
