Responsibilities:
Create, maintain, and drive comprehensive cloud security architecture and technology roadmaps aligned with business requirements and information security strategies, including regular gap analysis and architecture reviews
Design and oversee implementation of enterprise-wide cloud security solutions encompassing cloud architecture, microservices, APIs, containers, Kubernetes, service mesh, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), while ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations
Lead security architecture assessments, provide technical guidance, and develop security patterns and blueprints for cloud environments across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Partner with security programs and business units to plan and implement security roadmaps, including integration of cloud-native security controls, identity management solutions, and data protection mechanisms
Collaborate with business continuity teams to define and implement disaster recovery and resilience requirements for cloud environments, ensuring continuous operations of critical systems
Provide architectural oversight and security expertise to project teams, including guidance on cloud security controls, best practices, and emerging technologies while conducting security architecture reviews
Develop and maintain cloud security standards, patterns, and reference architectures while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and industry best practices
Analyze and document security requirements for cloud infrastructure, applications, and services, providing detailed recommendations and implementation guidance to technical teams
Qualifications:
18+ years of experience in Cyber Security with extensive knowledge of cloud security architectures, frameworks, and technologies
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, with advanced degrees and relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSP, AWS/Azure/GCP Security certifications)
Comprehensive expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including native security services, identity management, network security, and compliance tools
Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies including containers, Kubernetes, service mesh, microservices architectures, and their associated security implications
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud automation tools, and security orchestration platforms, including expertise in secure DevOps practices
Advanced knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CSA, CIS), compliance standards (SOC2, ISO27001, PCI DSS), and regulatory requirements
Proven experience in enterprise architecture principles, threat modeling, risk assessment, and security control implementation in cloud environments
Demonstrated expertise in identity and access management, encryption technologies, network security, and data protection strategies for cloud environments
Strong leadership and communication skills with experience presenting complex technical solutions to executive stakeholders
Preferred: Experience with multi-cloud architectures, zero trust implementation, cloud security automation, and emerging cloud security technologies
