Cloud Computing Manager/ Senior Manager

The Cloud Computing Manager/Senior Manager will be responsible for managing the organization’s cloud infrastructure and ensuring smooth operations, security, and scalability. This role includes developing cloud strategies, overseeing the implementation of cloud solutions, and ensuring compliance with national and international standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing cloud transformation plans and working in Saudi Arabia, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity and IT infrastructure policies and regulations.
 

• Lead the development and implementation of the organization’s cloud strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and future scalability needs.
• Oversee the cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with national policies and controls (الالمام بالسياسات والضوابط المتعلقة بالأمن السيبراني والبنية التحتية) as well as industry standards for cloud computing and IT security.
• Manage cloud service providers and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Perform regular security risk assessments for cloud-based systems, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Lead the development and execution of the organization’s cloud transformation plans, focusing on migrating legacy systems and optimizing cloud resources.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure all cloud operations meet security standards, including encryption, identity management, and access controls.
• Monitor and manage cloud systems to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Oversee the planning and execution of cloud-related projects, ensuring successful implementation within timelines and budget.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the cloud operations team, ensuring continuous improvement in processes, tools, and knowledge sharing.
• Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and innovations, ensuring the organization’s infrastructure remains cutting-edge.
• Prepare and present regular reports on cloud performance metrics to senior management.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud computing, with specific experience in the Saudi market (Must).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of cloud transformation planning and experience in working on large-scale cloud migration projects.
• In-depth understanding of national cybersecurity policies and IT infrastructure regulations (الالمام بالسياسات والضوابط المتعلقة بالأمن السيبراني والبنية التحتية).
• Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and a solid understanding of virtualization technologies and cloud-based security.
• Hands-on experience in managing cloud security frameworks and implementing cloud governance policies.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex cloud environments and lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified, Microsoft Azure certifications) are preferred.
