Key Areas of ResponsibilitiesEnsure dispensing medications properlyEnsure all medication stocks are properly labeled inside the pharmacy specially checking on expiry dates and lot numbers of the medications that are supposed to be used first.Performing and timely reporting monthly consumables stock countReceiving all consumables to clinic warehouse, timely (within 24 hours) reporting to HQ MRNs and MTNsMonitoring daily stock expenditure to treatment areas and assuring conformity of given quantities with BoMs and performed treatmentsEnsuring reporting to SC damaged, expired products and deliver consumption forecast on timeDaily checking of storage(s) temperature and humidity in accordance to company procedure and protocolParticipating in preparation of consumption forecast of medicines and consumables (with MD and HN).Checking crash card medications on a weekly basis (and when needed) inside the treatment area in collaboration with the nursing staffTimely ordering replenishment request to ensure continues availability of stocksReview the requested amount of medications with MD and HN ? MAKE SURE ALL NUMBERS ARE CORRECT. Provides pharmaceutical care by collaborating with physicians, nurses and other members of the healthcare team in:Reviewing patient medication historyReviewing patient medication profilesMonitoring potential adverse drug-drug and drug-food interactionsEducating patients on drug usage as needDetect, monitors, document and report medication errors.When needed, reviews physician orders for possible therapeutic problems, contraindications, interactions, allergies, and formulary status of the drugDiscusses medication order clarifications with the prescriber, document any interventions in pharmacy records, and inform others of medication order changesEnsures proper technique and accurate preparation of medicationProvides presentations, publications and other informative activities on drug-related topics to the health care community and general publicLeadership competencies:Interacts actively with other members of the healthcare team on regular basis.Maintain honest and attentiveness to the rights of the patient.Maintains confidentiality of patient information.Participates in emergency and disaster planDemonstrates a clear understanding of regulations applicable to patient care and other functionFollows all company ?related policies and procedures.Performs other duties within the realm of his/her knowledge and ability as required.?Key Performance IndicatorsAvailability of medication.Expired medication.Patients satisfactionAvailability of emergency medication.Accuracy of stock count report.Follow up on updated prescriptions in irims Adherence to pharma and routine supply budget.
