Purpose:
Clinical operations function defines process of material management in terms of maintaining clean storage rooms in terms of stock, lop-up, as well as rotating near expiry items. The clinical operation technician is responsible for completing the internal request cycle by receiving and file the bins in the clean storage rooms.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Receiving and closing of internal requests.
Topping up all consumable bins in clean storage rooms
Rotating near expiry items to area of need.
Review the items in the department’s storages.
Review the expired items information and match them with the list received from the beneficiary department before sending them to the warehouse.
Ensure the beneficiary department receives the items disbursed from the warehouse.
Respect patients and their families to promote a patient-centered care culture.
Participates in and supports quality improvement and patient safety activities as an individual or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Performs other job related duties, as assigned
Qualifications and experience :
2 years diploma of Hospital Administration with no experience.
SCFHS Registration/ license required
