Industrial Complex, Riyadh


The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.


Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.


The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.


Job Purpose

Responsible to handle all air and sea import clearance activities, and ensure all operational functions are carried out in comprehensible way and manner.




Key Accountability Areas
  • The good follow up for the status of all shipments even before arriving to the port if possible through the arrival notification from the shipping line, freight team or the purchaser.
  • Receive the complete shipping documents from purchaser/freight team before shipment arrived to the port if possible and ensure that the material description in the documents is matching the physical material and all details mentioned in the documents are correct and complete.
  • Prepare the Clearance Order according to the shipping documents (which should be correct) and send it to the broker ASAP along with the shipping documents.
  • Follow up under-clearance shipments with the broker to get the updates and post those updates on the system.
  • Update the warehouse delivery date on the system if needed.
  • Receive the daily shipment updates report and loading reports from the clearance brokers.
  • Submit the advance payment requests for VAT and under deposit amounts.
  • Submit demurrage/detention approval requests.
  • Enter shipments cost details on the system once the clearance broker’s invoices received.

Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Transportation/Logistics
