As the Classified Sales Development Manager, you will focus on building and nurturing client relationships to drive growth in our classified sales. You will combine sales development with account management responsibilities, ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and achieve their advertising goals. You should have a proven track record in sales, excellent account management skills, and a deep understanding of the classified advertising industry.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and they are fully satisfied with our classified advertising services;
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive loyalty and retention;
- Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to grow classified ad revenue;
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services to existing clients;
- Oversee the entire account lifecycle, from onboarding to ongoing support and renewal;
- Regularly review client performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimise their advertising efforts;
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on maximising advertising ROI;
- Address any client issues or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction;
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by expanding business within existing accounts and securing new client engagements;
- Utilise data and client feedback to identify growth opportunities;
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform client strategies;
- Collaborate closely with product development and marketing teams to integrate client feedback into platform enhancements;
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to account management and sales, preparing regular reports for senior management;
- Continuously improve knowledge of the platform and industry trends;
- Participate in training sessions and provide feedback to improve team skills and client service;
- Develop and implement customer retention strategies, focusing on delivering value and building long-term partnerships;
- Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction.
