The role will cover technical advisory services from bid stage through to delivery (feasibility, conceptual / preliminary design, detailed design).
Working as part of a multi-disciplined team of engineers responsible for the production design deliverables for water, wastewater engineering.
Responsible for assisting in all aspects of civil and hydraulic design from site surveys of existing assets, optioneering, feasibility studies, detailed design and tender pricing.
Production of procurement specifications for mechanical equipment; hydraulic calculations and production of detailed design construction drawings.
Project managing third party designs and providing design assistance to installation and commissioning teams.
Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues and interface with other engineering disciplines
Water/wastewater infrastructure design that includes permitting, grading, hydraulic design, erosion control, storm drainage, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection systems
Support preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents
Support preparation of construction drawings, specifications and cost estimates

Broad experience in mechanical designing water and wastewater treatment systems including pumping station with broad knowledge of local and international standards governing both systems.
Lead wastewater process engineering during plant audits, plant optimization and evaluation studies, conceptual water/ wastewater treatment/system design, and review detailed design & engineering etc.
Ability to review designs, direct subordinates to proper review to meet deliverables deadlines.
Good knowledge of local or/ and international design guidelines and specifications.
Analyze client requirement, plan, manage time, determine priorities and assign duties to subordinates, provides guidance, ensure proper solutions proposed and directions to meet client objectives and deliverables on time. Attain client satisfaction and maintain confidentiality.
Good working knowledge on mechanical rehabilitation works of water and wastewater infrastructures.
Travel to site as required and perform any additional duties as required.
Regular review of the staff performance and develop a training plan for them.
Identify human resources requirements and develop the business case for hiring, levels of rewards, and promotions for function employees.
