Job Description

  • Ensure the achievement of organizational standards in hygiene, cleanliness HACCP and, safety in all F&B areas and for all F&B equipment.
  • Maintaining and cleaning of all F&B service and Kitchen Equipment.
  • Implementing the Policies and Procedures in operating the Stewarding Department.
  • Guiding the team in the performance of their jobs in accordance to the brand policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the necessary availability of all quality kitchen and service equipment by effective planning, maintenance, receiving, storing and issuing.
  • In charge of the administration, operation and coordination of the Stewarding Department.
  • Maintain in good condition all the material and kitchen utensils, follow engineering in case of repairing.
  • Coordinating the general supplies status and maintain a good stock in hand.
  • Conduct physical inspections of kitchen preparation and storage areas to assure that sanitation standards are consistently attained. Manage the pest control and hygiene in kitchen.
  • Ensure the organization of work within the department as per planned schedules.
  • Monitor & control costs, wastages by recommending changes and ffective utilization of available resources to increase efficacy of operations.  
  • Aware of the daily hotel activities and product knowledge of all the hotel facilities.
  • Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to all internal customers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in an international luxury brand. 
  • Proficient in English.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, flexible working hours, ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.
  • Great attention to details, administration and knowledge of HACCP, hygiene and safety procedures
  • Strong multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
  • Physical ability to work for long periods of time.

Additional Information

Proficiency in Arabic and previous experience in Saudi Arabia are highly desirable
