About the location:
Steps from the Prophet’s Mosque, our Hotel will offer luxury accommodation for the city’s 1.5 million annual visitors. The new-build hotel will be located at the heart of Madinah and steps from one of the most historic and significant sites in the region: Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet’s Mosque. Madinah is also home to the Quba Mosque, which is regarded as the oldest mosque in the world.

The Role of Chief Engineer :
We currently have an opportunity for a Chief Engineer to join our Four Seasons Hotel Madinah opening team!
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Engineering , you will be an integral member of the Hotel Leadership team that is collectively res ponsible for making key strategic and operational decisions for the hotel.
You will be res ponsible for providing professional direction for all aspects of the hotel and building maintenance . This position will include project management (including annual and long-term capital expenditu res ), procurement and planning, leading the day-to-day maintenance operations of the hotel, and budget planning and management . You will also lead the Safety Committee and the energy conservation program.
Critical to the success of the role is the accomplishment of all res ponsibilities in conjunction with delivering the highest of standards consistently and ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests and employees. As a member of the leadership team , you will provide short- and long-term strategic direction in conjunction with all operational needs of the individual departments.
Our Ideal Chief Engineer candidate will have:
H otel opening experience and expert technical knowledge of general building maintenance and environmental standards .
Additionally, you will be a pas sionate and motivated team player with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, have the highest level of integrity and transparency, strategic, analytical and strong business acumen, an eye for detail, a pas sion for service, and a desire to promote a continuous learning environment that creates an atmosphere for professional development opportunities.
Supporting the Saudi nationalization scheme, we are looking forward to connecting with Saudi nationals whom have a pas sion for e ngineering and building maintenance . Suitable candidates must be eligible to work in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
