Job Description

The Certified ARAMCO WPR (Work Permit Receiver) plays a crucial role in ensuring safety and compliance within construction and building projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position is essential for managing work permits and ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to during the execution of construction activities. The WPR is responsible for coordinating with various teams to facilitate smooth operations while minimizing risks associated with construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ARAMCO standards and regulations, as well as a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee the issuance of work permits in compliance with ARAMCO regulations.
  2. Conduct safety briefings and ensure all personnel are aware of site-specific hazards.
  3. Coordinate with project managers and safety officers to ensure all safety measures are implemented.
  4. Monitor ongoing work activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  5. Document and report any safety incidents or near misses to the appropriate authorities.
  6. Review and approve work plans to ensure they meet safety and operational requirements.
  7. Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections on-site.
  8. Provide training and guidance to team members on safety practices and procedures.
  9. Maintain accurate records of all work permits issued and safety training conducted.
  10. Act as a liaison between ARAMCO representatives and the construction team regarding safety compliance.

  1. Strong knowledge of ARAMCO safety regulations and standards.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  4. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  5. Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
  7. Commitment to promoting a culture of safety on-site.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  9. Proficient in using safety management software and tools.
  10. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
