Job Purpose / Objective
Take part in the clinical work within the CCL and expected to introduce new skills and provide training of other staff. Take an active part both on the diagnostic procedures and in the therapeutic interventional techniques which are varied and part of our routine medical services.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Help in transferring the patient from and to the operating table.
- Prepare the invasive lines, and make sure all vital signs are connected.
- Able to analyze the Hemodynamic studies for Adult & Pediatric cases.
- Contribute in the inventory of the High Cost items
- Track and document all implants.
- Oversee the quality assurance procedure: i.e. radiation protection and quality control of cine film processing and laser copy processing.
- Participate in the departmental research program, and will also be supported by the department to write and publish scientific papers using the department material.
- Involve actively in Help in transferring the patient from and to the operating table.
- the digital catheterization work already undertaken by the department.
- Take part in all clinical procedures, diagnostic and interventional, undertaken in CCL within agreed policies and procedures.
- Maintain standards of quality assurance and keep an up-to-date knowledge of developments and technique in Cardiology Radiology.
- Ensures the patient and staff are protected from unnecessary hazards due to radiation.
- Participate in the departmental Rota which may include working single-hand-on call at night.
- Introduce new skills and provides training of other staff as required.
- Provide patient and family education as per the needs.
- Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
- Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
- Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned with the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
Education/ Professional Qualification
1. Bachelor Degree/ or recognized Cardiovascular Technology Program Cath Lab Radiographer/ or Invasive Cath Lab Technician
Experience
1. At least Two (2) years of experience as a Radiographer of which at least one year spent exclusively as a radiographer in CCL imaging procedures in an acute care hospital operating at Western Standards.
Professional Licensing / Certification / Training
1. Relevant certificates (BLS & ACLS certified)
2. Valid Saudi Council license
