Eram Talent is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer Assistant to join our Client in Saudi Arabia, focusing on the Oil & chemical sector. As a Buyer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement team in various purchasing activities, including supplier evaluation, order processing, and maintaining procurement documentation. Your attention to detail and excellent organizational skills will contribute significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement operations.
1. Assist in the purchasing of materials and services.
2. Support processes related to the issuance of Requests for Quotations (RFQs), resolve supplier inquiries, and manage bid evaluations and Purchase Order issuance.
3. Evaluate Purchase Orders for accuracy and ensure completeness regarding terms, conditions, and deliverables.
4. Collaborate with the expediting team to facilitate timely delivery and address any supply chain issues.
5. Ensure adherence to procurement policies and compliance with established guidelines and procedures.
6. Maintain and update the central vendor database and identify potential new suppliers.
7. Monitor outstanding Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and ensure timely processing of requests.
8. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor/Manager.
