Consulting Services:
–Rollout, operate and provide consultancy and advisory
services to the KSA Contracting Industry, in close collaboration with SCA’s
partners
–Determine a list of potential consultancy services, taking
into consideration customer segments, detailed service offerings and value
proposition as well as the digitization opportunities for the delivery of each
of these services (e.g. mobile / web applications to receive and respond to
inquiries, etc…)
–Develop consulting services portfolio tailored to the
contracting industry based on market needs, taking into consideration sales and
service delivery operating model as well as the financial feasibility / targets
of each respective program
–Identify potential international and regional consultancy
partners with the capabilities and expertise to deliver consultancy and
advisory services to the targeted customer segments, taking into consideration
the required quality-standards
–Conduct formal partnerships with concerned partners
including negotiation of key terms and responsibilities of each partner, as to
provide effective consultancy and advisory support to the customer segments
–Establish and maintain a well-defined and impartial
assessment process to monitor performance and effectiveness of provided
consulting and advisory services (e.g. engage third party conformity assessment
bodies, impartial experts within SCA, etc.) and periodically assess and review
partner performance and take action accordingly
Specialized Certification:
–Assess regional and international contracting related
certification programs to determine certification landscape and explore
emerging areas for accreditation, with relation to KSA contracting industry
–Develop a certification portfolio tailored to the
contracting industry based on market needs and certification program value
proposition, looking at the targeted certification programs and their impact on
the contracting industry development and evolution
–Identify international and regional certification providers
suitable to provide certifications in the Saudi market, negotiating and
conducting formal partnerships with them
–Develop
and detail the certification programs, in close consultation with any
certification providers / partners, including:
–Target
audience and program objectives (e.g., enhance quality of construction,
recognize contractors' performance, etc.…)
–Key
certification components and respective contractor evaluation criteria
–Certification
requirements based on best-practice guidelines
–Scoring
and rating methodologies, including relevant contractor assessment tools and
mechanisms
–Certification
materials, process, policies, testing guidelines and other associated
operational aspects
–Rollout
and operate the actual certification programs, whilst executing the
corresponding implementation plan in collaboration with certification partners
Innovation & Product
Development:
–Develop
new ideas and concepts for products, services, or processes
–Identify
and assess potential opportunities for innovation within the organization
–Develop
strategies and plans to foster a culture of innovation within the organization
–Lead
brainstorming process with concerned departments within SCA for the
identification of & brainstorming process of innovative ideas / solutions
–Collaborate
with Information Services Department to develop publications in local and
regional platforms on latest innovation trends
–Conduct
research on the industry and market to highlight potential services, taking
into consideration regional global peers (as applicable)
–Lead
the identification of potential services that could be offered by SCA, in line
with corporate strategy
–Conduct
feasibility studies of potential services, including business case and service
delivery models
–Support
in identifying customers and cross selling opportunities to grow and expand
services revenues for SCA
–Provide
training to employees on the new product or service
–Conduct
pilot programs to soft-launch proposed products or services, in collaboration
with potential owner department
–Report on the success of
the pilot program, develop lessons learned, and hand over operations of product to the owner department
–Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years of related experience
–Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline is preferred
–Prior experience of (6+ years) in a managerial or supervisory role
