Your Role: As a Business Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the organization's security posture by developing and implementing a comprehensive governance framework. This role requires a strong understanding of industry best practices (e.g., ITIL, ISO 27001) and the ability to translate these principles into practical, business-aligned security solutions. You will be responsible for defining clear roles, responsibilities, and reporting hierarchies within the security organization, ensuring accountability and efficient decision-making. You will also play a key role in developing and maintaining security policies and standards, building upon the existing IT Operations Management (ITOM) system to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality. This includes establishing clear performance tracking metrics, fostering strong stakeholder collaboration, and driving continuous improvement within the security domain.
Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field. · 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security governance, risk management, or compliance. · Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ITIL, ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework). · Experience with developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standards. · Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal). · Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. · Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems is a plus. · Knowledge of cloud security best practices is a plus.
