Business Planning Senior Specialist

Reporting to the Strategy and Network Manager, the Business & Planning Sr. Specialist is to support the line manager in strategic planning analysis and business development case studies & initiatives related to maritime transportation under the management of NEOM Water Mobility. This role focuses on analysis for optimizing routes, identifying new business opportunities, and managing stakeholder relationships to ensure sustainable growth and operational efficiency. The position plays a key role in aligning the network strategy with overall business objectives, aligning budget management, guiding procurement strategies, and driving long-term planning for the service

Key Accountabilities: 

• Development of business cases and business plans related to transportation systems under the responsibility of NEOM Water Mobility (water taxis, water shuttles, passenger ferries, GEV, helicopters, Ro Pax ferries, and others that may arise).
• Development of investment and operational budgets related to fleet acquisition, terminal development, maritime transport operations, operations supervision, terminal management, and asset operation and maintenance.
• Support in the strategic planning of the maritime transport network by developing plans and presentations for route activation, fleet deployment, personnel hiring, infrastructure requirements, energy needs, etc.
• Support for the strategic configuration of the transport network: routes, frequencies, services, capacities, user types, service types, etc.
• Preparation of operational plans and service level agreements for internal clients (Proponents and Regions).
• Support in strategic requirements related to subcontracting processes, asset acquisition, and procurement in general: fleet, infrastructure, provision of transport services, infrastructure management, operations supervision, among others.
